Today was the AGM at FIFA and its clear Mr Infantino will fight on. If no candidate steps forward soon to take him on then he will win unopposed . I have always thought that would happen. People forget FIFA delegates from each of the countries that will vote on that are mostly not bothered about football and corruption and just want a bribe or payday. They are sons or friends of connected people and Its why they took the job. Football will take care of itself and they will take care of the life of a FIFA football delegate. The idea these suits from Africa and Asia ( for example) are the guardians of football is nonsense. I reckon most of them wanted 20% of the tournaments to be sold to trumps relative as they would get a cut of it!
Infantino has promised delegates 'additional funding' in world football. There associations will get a load more cash, more for the ones that are not yet offering their full support for him in the vote. Its corruption and it will work. Its like when they have the COP27 forum on global warming. The little countries are not worried about saving the planet but there just to lobby for a billion dollar handout from the big polluting countries to help them deal with the effects of global warming. They will then spend that money on polluting industry and the rest on Lear jets and prostitutes.

@jaylarI did tell you he would get full support. Caribbean will fall in line. On another line I'm rather impressed with the West indies in India at the cricket.

Yeah I think you're right that Infantino will probably run unopposed if nobody steps up soon. The extra funding thing does look like buying votes to me. Still, I'd say not every delegate is in it for the money, some of them really do care about football in their country.
