Even though the name is Red Sea, but the colour of the sea is not red. Its only the name cause theres a story related to it. But, dont ask me. I dont really know the story behind it.

Red sea is color is not really red, but sometimes it appears to be. The Red Sea got its name from a phenomenon caused by a type of algae called Trichodesmium Erythraeum, which found in the sea. When these algae blooms die off the blue green color of sea appears to change to reddish-brown color. That is the reason why it is called red sea.
