Know any good vacation spots in Colorado

I want to take my family there in the winter and summer and would like any suggestions. My daughter's b-day is in Dec. and she always wanted to see snow so I thought it would be great b-day gift next year. I also want to go in the summer too. I know there is soo much to see there and am not sure where to start. I want to move up there eventually since I've heard so many great things about Colorado from friends and family but I gotta convince the husband. Anyway, any suggestions on great deals, activities and attractions would be wonderful. If it helps I have an 8yr. old, 5yr. old and 2mo. old. Thanks.
