I here it all the time from "smartie pants" parents and grandparents Oh that kid is all bundled up! That's OK, but for the looks, as if I wrapped a rope around him. I am thinking like why do you think its OK to pull on a some kind of sweatshirt and let your kids play in snow and water puddles with their snots hanging? Is this a new method of keeping them immune to cold? I guess I am missing something here

Don't worry you're not missing anything, people are just being silly. Of course it's right to bundle up your children when going outside, you don't want them to end up with an ear infection or a cold.

well my kids have never seen snow, but i would bundle them up as much as i could. it gets a little cold here, i normally have a jacket long pants and a hat...thats the most they need here. my guess is that they think the child is uncomfortable...if you make your child look like that kid the the christmas story movie, where the kid couldn't even walk..it would be a little funny.
