Hi there! im wondering what sort of shows you watch on Pay TV. We have it and we watch a lot of the forensic shows, pimp my ride, american chaopper, cops, there are so many we watch to the point that if the satellite is down and we dont have signal, hubby is lost, we hardly watch any free to air. We have about 4 decents free to air channels in Australia. What about you?

We mostly watch similar shows to you Kyliepops. Also love most hanunted on W and trading spouses. All the C.I. shows are great too. The kids spend most of the afternoon on Disney or nickelodeon. I think they would be more lost than me if the austar disappeared.

I'm so excited Sci Fi Channel is finally here.. yahhhhh !!! We have IQ with our foxtell, We are recording faster than we can watch them.. On the Sci fi we have The Others, All the Star treks, Battlestar Galactica, The 4400, Lexx, Sliders Babylon 5, The list goes on.. With upgrading for the Sci Fi WE now get UK TV so Dr Who is being recorded and of course Fox 8 with Jeremiah & heaps more, but can't keep up with it all... lol

We only have free to air television, and get fairly good reception from all channels except for Channel 10, so we are not complaining. For the amount of time we watch TV, we cannot justify having pay TV, although we did have it for a couple of years when we were living in an area where tv reception was very poor, i.e. almost non-existant in fact.

It is funny beacuse just yesterday our son mentioned that it is a shame that we don't have Pay TV because there is something that he wants to watch. Told him that as he will be starting night shift very soon and then going overseas in less than 6 months, there is no point in having it connected. However if he does, then he can pay for it for whatever the minimum amount of time it has to be connected.

Thats fair enough and also then you would get to enjoy it while he was OS!! Great thinking there!!

We cheat here actually, we use the basic package most of the time. We use the IQ box, and once every few months we upgrade to a better package, record everything we can for a month, annd then drop back to a basic package. Then we just watch all the stuff of the IQ box untill we run out, and do it again. Its cheaper then paying for the ecxpensive channels all the time, and we always have something to watch. I'm sure foxtell wouldnt be happy with me posting this, but oh well. But Um Kylie, 4 good free to air channels you say? I canny think of any.
