If the cars are in my husband's name ONLY, what happens if he were to die suddenly? As his wife, are they automatically mine or do they have to do through probate?

My husband passed away recently and they are yours..you just have to have them put in your name and also you can get them to transfer the plates with out paying for any of this..just tell them ..I did and they agreed with me but I had to call the head person of the dirctor of transportation and pled my story and he said yes that was not fair that they were going to make me pay all those fees so they waved all of them ...good luck

If he has a "will" and mentions in there that you get the cars he owns then there should be no problem. You would have to check his will.

yeah you have to check is will, or the deceased things go to probate then you or your family will have to bid on them
