Well don't pack your Things and your Girl and get out I made that mistake 21 years I stuck it and it made me Ill and very insecure so please don't make that mistakes My Ex was not controlling but yes verbal abuse, drinking,selfish and everything came before his Family Please take the Advise

You know, I always said one thing that I strongly beleive in: rather for a child seeing fights , and drinking, and a family life not as it supposed to be , happy and with understanding... better to be only with you. Think about it !! She will grow up and she will understand! And more than that , if you rebuild your life and you will have somebody carring next to you - it will be perfect for her!!! Take care of yourself!!!

Can you get him to go in for marriage counseling? If not it might be better for you and your little girl to leave. It's not good to expose her to verbal abuse. It might cause her to lose respect for you and herself.
