This is the TRUTH!! Should smoking laws be waivered for presidents & celebs?

Recently our president and a world known celebrity, (both are smokers) held a charity ball for 500 guests. The venue is a non smoking venue, but as guests of honour smoke, the law was waivered for the evening. The non smokers had to endure the smokers all evening. They said it was terrible. Surely a law is law and should not be waivered because of celebrity guests.

I heard this from someone who attended. I might also add it never ever reached a newspaper. Probably no-one wants to be offensive. Which Country do you live in?

I personally think that they are no different than us, but you know since they are the rich and famous they will get away with it. They will either be let go with a warning or pay it off without any real consequences.
