Have you ever looked at the "discussions with no responses" tab?

I browse there quite a bit and there seem to be many good discussions that no one has answered. I just think it would be good if we all went to this section now and then and helped out folks who posted perfectly good topics but got no response. If you don't know what I'm talking about try this: Click on discussions, then in the same area as "today's top discussions" "discussions from my interests" etc, click "more".

i try to do this for a good percentage of my time on mylot i find many interesting topics on the no responses tab, but why should this be when the coke or pepsy type questions get answered in to the hundreds, is it an age thing?

I think it's more a laziness thing. The coke/pepsi questions are much easier to answer because they require no thought.

I think it should be on the main page, not hidden on a second page.

I agree. When someone takes the time to put together a good question, I think it's worth my time to find it and respond accordingly!

Exactly, some people here do not care if the post is nice. they just want to select the easiest topic so they can reply speedily and earn points. :-) But thats not really fair. Hope the attitude will soon change for the better

I agree. Too many people on MyLot are simply looking for quick and easy.

You better do that. Since last one week, most of the 0 response discussions are attended by me. This is a good idea. In fact I have more than 50 discussion topics which have 1 or 2 responses. I need help from someon who can dig up and respond.

I do that often. Sometime, in "discussions with no responses", there are interesting discussion. It can happen for a lot of reasons, not only because it is not interesting. Often because there are too many discussions at the same time and so no one find time to read. I don't like too much "today's top discussions" but I surf often in "discussions from my interests". About that I am not so happy in many of my interests there are no discussion. I think that one of my old discusssion (about Tantra) is still with NO reponse. I hope someon ewill reat it soon or later.

I do too. But sometimes I can't find anything. I'm beginning to notice that there are certain times of the day where mylot has more interesting topics I can find in the no response area. I know that a lot of topics go unanswered and that is why I hit don't answer from the first page. I'm sure I will run into those topics again.

I went there today and responded to probably about 7 or 8 of them. I also went there and found someone that was abusing the site and posting articles right off the internet. They were definitely articles because ther eis no way the guy was posting 5 articles in 2 minutes that were that leanth about different subjects like nursing, GPS, teaching, politics, etc. Looking at the profile the guy was only 19 years old. Looking at the articles they were imaculate, but the one's that he actually started himself had spelling and gramatical mistakes everywhere. Looking in the new articles section is great to find new articles, but it also helps us police those who may be abusing.

I check there after I check 'new discussions'. I try and respond to every topic that I have something to say about, pretty much. Especially if there are no responses there at all. I leave the top discussions and things alone, because they have plenty of responses already!

Absolutley, i visit that tab the most i think. I always like to go and check out what no one has yet responded to, you might find a real intereting topic that everyone else is missin out on. And if they take the time to make a topic, then it should be read and responded to.
