who would you pick? - who would you pick?

Given your choice of anyone in the world, living or dead, who would you pick to have dinner with? What would you want to talk with this person about? My mind literally reels at this question... there are so many famous people who intrigue me, living and dead. I could fill a very large table with companions. I think I might just choose my grandmother who died almost 4 years ago from cancer. She was so out of it by the time she passed away that I would love to have the opportunity to spend time with the woman I remember, and fill her in on everything that's being going on in my life, especially everything about my little boy, who was less than a year old when she died. What do you guys think about this question?

wow, i would love to dine with so many people from the past and the present, is the question exclusive to just one particular answer? if so, then i would love to sit down and have dinner with my biological mom. i last saw her when i was six, i am 30 now. i haven't got a clue what happened to her after the day she dropped us to my dad's parents' house for my stepmom to get us. i had a happy enough childhood, i am ot bitter about her leaving us, i always believed that she had reasons for doing so. having dinner with her would be the best moment of my life, i'd like to know what makes up the other half of me... if this is not exclusive to just one person, then here are more answers: King Arthur and his Knights, Confucius, Mary Magdalene, Pope John Paul II, Joan of Arc, Josh Hartnett, Oprah Winfrey, Condaleesa Rice, George Clooney, Jack Nicholson, Debra Messing and Paul Bettany...

Mary Magdalene... that would be very interesting indeed! Especially if you had Pope John Paul II at the same table, and it turned out that the stuff in daVinci Code was true!

i just have one person in mind right now, and i was so fascinated with the story i read over my email titled " come as you are, no jacket required" where Jesus paid for everything you want to order in the restaurant, peace, love, joy, everything we all yearned for in this life. all paid in full by Christ Jesus. And i now want to have a night / dinner with Jesus, if this is really possible. He is really great, maybe i would like to ask a few questions when i am faced with him already, or i might just be dumdfounded.

My cousin Scottie. He was my best friend when we were younger, and he passed away in a horrible incident with his baby sitter. I love him so much and miss him. I would love to sit down and talk with him. I would tell him about everything that has happened in life, and how it isn't what I thought it would be. I would tell him I love him and think of him daily. That would be a wonderful day.

If I have given a chance then I would love to have dinner with a beatiful bollywood actress Sushmita Sen. She is not only a celebrity but a very good person from heart. And I know that she had come up from a middle class background and had very tough times at her intial stage so I would like to ask her all about how did she managed to overcome all tough times.

I could not just pick one person. For me it would be nice to talk to Princess Diana, but I would have to pick my family members that have passed on. I to would want to talk to them about how things have been with me and to be able to say everything that was not able to be said due to their early departures from this Earth. Boy, what I would give to have just one more day with each one of them!

I would have dinner with my younger self, and would tell him, that no matter the difficulties, the hard times, life was worth living, and to do everything I did, just risk a little more, be a little less coward.

I'd like to get her to tell me what happened to break up her marriage to Tom Cruise. I don't know why such things are fascinating to me but they are! Beyond that, though, I agree with you that she is intriguing. I'd love to meet her.

I think I would seek out a philanthropist...seeing as how I run a nonprofit which was set up to aid both the addicted and their families. I have seen how addiction affects so much more than the one addicted. Children who have lost a parent and a childhood. Families without the homes they once knew because of addiction of a family member. How addiction has a strangle hold on so many, how the services available for those who seek help are over crowded and the waiting lists for rehab. Yes, a philanthropist who might share my own pain seeing the pain of others.

I would definately want to have dinner with my grandfather and grandmother who both past away. I would want to have dinner with my other grandfather who has ALS and his mind is going now too so I want to speak to him the way he was before the desiese kicked in. Oh, and I want to have dinner with the Michael Jackson of the early eighties so I can talk some sense in to the man. Maybe convince him of some serious therapy so he doesnt stop making good music.

I'd like to share a meal with relatives that have passed on, but I think that they are at peace now. One name that comes to mind that would be most interesting to share a meal with is Jesus. A more wise and caring individual I can not think of. So there you have it, Jesus is my pick for dinner and a discussion.

I really couldn't decide between relatives who have passed so I would go for someone famous or historical. that lead to more decisions lol!! I think I would want to eat with someone like Davinci or Queen Victoria. People who made an impact in the time in which they lived.

Rock Hudson springs to mind, but I doubt that even if he were alive that he would be interested. I still think he was gorgeous and I will always be a fan of his.
