Asking your dr. is always the best decision. if your son is just hyper without the lack of attention try changing his deit. limit the sugar, red dye, and processed food intake. that has helped my son with the hyperness, but my son takes adderal and risperadal, for the attention span, and anger. so i suggest talking with you teachers and dr to see what your childs main concerns are, and going from there. voice your opinion and concerns from the start, if you dont like the effects of a med say so, or they cant help you help your son.

they give aderol also.. but speak with his pediatrician.. they can offer the best advice. If you are leary about giving medications.. let his doctor know and ask if there are alternative that you can use. His pediatrican would be the best to help you on this.

Hon, ask a professional. Also, make sure he has a healthy diet and get his blood tested to make sure levels are OK. Other than that, take him to a doctor and discuss options.
