Cold calling Pests

Don't you just love it when you are just sitting down to your evening meal with your family and the 'phone rings and it is someone "cold calling" you from a FORIEGN country speaking the worst English you have ever heard on the noisiest telephone line about selling you some rubbish you don't want. They are pests. How do you deal with them I'd like to know?

if they call me I tell them about my business and try to hire them so they dont have to be the dreaded telemarketer.
