I've been to hong kong one year ago, and i found a lot of wondful things . Hong Kong’s splendid international airport (designed by Norman Foster) is on Lantau island, but getting into town is simplicity itself. The arrivals hall literally spills you out into the Airport Express, which will whisk you to Central, on Hong Kong Island, in 25 minutes. The trains run every 10 minutes and the single fare is about HK$100. You can often get a discount if you buy an Octopus card; this is a travel pass valid on the MTR, buses, trams, and public light buses (mini-buses) throughout your stay . A taxi to Hong Kong Island will cost between HK$350-400 and take far longer. Best to use the Airport Express to Hong Kong Station, then walk across the concourse to the taxi rank and cab it to your hotel from there. The airport itself is the last word in sleek design, and more restaurants and shops seem to open there every month.
