whom to choose between wife and mom?

That's a really horrible situation to be in, and I've been there when I was married. I think the best thing to do is be honest with yourself. If you know your wife is right most of the time, make sure you tell her and your mother, visa versa. Or maybe...don't even get between them at all. It's so hard, I know.

Very pertinent question. It is important that you understand the point of view of both. I disagree when you say wife is normally right. Dont be skewed towards your wife. Your Mom has known you for years and she also loves you. It is important that you take care of her views also and she will only mean well for you. You need to sit down with both of them and explain YOUR point of view and that how it is very important for you that both of them are happy. I am sure they will understand.

are you kidding -do not take anyone's side only support who is right but seprately.A little diplomacy is required.Best way is to shut up and keep listening to both of them and agree to both of them and never deciding who is right.Let them sort it out by themselves and they can do it trust me.No one asks for solutions but they both want you to listen,they know in their hearts who is right and what should be done,youjust have to listen and sympathise with one who is slightly weaker in position.
