Are we headed for a nuclear war soon?

With all the tension between US and Iran and N.Korea growing....and the UN playing a dummy organisation in this, where is the world headed with all the nuclear weapons put together having the power to blow up this planet 10 times over???!!

I hope that the President of the United States, as well as the military has the common sense not to start a nuclear war. Or even to retalliate with nuclear weapons if we are attacked. Yes, the world can be destroyed by the combined nuclear weapons of the world, and it only take 1 weapon to start the destructive cycle. But I think that most of the people of the earth would have enough common sense to avoid such a disaster. But there are people in the world, that would like to see my country destroyed. That is what happened on Sept. 11, 2001. They failed to make us weak, it only made us stronger, as a nation. I just hope, for my children, and grand children, that they can live in a peacefull world.

Yeah..i think the leaders of all the countries should take up resolution of their disputes, be it border issues or any other hostilities on a first priority basis. It would truly be a dream come true if one day there would be a world where no country possesses any nuclear weapons.And we all use nuclear energy only for peaceful purposes...dat day will not be far if all the leaders start de-comissioning their Nuke Arsenal one by one...lets start with the G-7 nations shall we ?

America won't start it. But Isreal will start and then the USA will.

Well the facts alone state that the united states alone has enough nuclear weapons to kill every man,woman and child that is on earth 12 times over so just imagine adding in the other countries that have them too.

I don't think so. But if one of them start it, Iran or N.K. the United States will wipe it off the map, so I don't think it will happen. I hope it never comes to that.
