Can u tell the truth........?

Your close friend asks - and genuinely wants - your opinion on something, but your opinion is one that he is likely to find quite painful. Would you tell him the truth?

I may not tell him the entire truth, or a harsh truth. But if I think something just isn't going to work, I'll let him know, and tell him that it just aint gona work. This is a friend afterall. If it was some smuck, then I don't have an issue with a harsh truth.

No, I wouldn't. As much as I hate lying, hurting my friends feelings is so much worse. It would hurt me as well. It's a tough place to be in.
