I started playing this about 5 years ago, and still play it to this day. You can play online or offline, I enjoy both. This is a role-playing game, of which you pick from one of 7 different characters, and complete quests in 5 ACTS, to eventually destroy Diablo and his minions. You may ask, how can you play this for 5 years, usually once you complete the quests the game is done, well that's just not the case with this game. You can play in normal mode,nightmare, and Hell mode, and the cow level on completion of all three. You can join online in the Battlenet network and chat with friends, compete in duels against each, play in mods, climb the ladder to be the best character you can. Diablo 2 LOD, allows you to create a character, gain experience for kills (leveling up to 99), find,purchase, or create a weapon of choice, as well as armor (helms,boots,gloves, chest plates), charms, amulets, and rings. This game is poplular with my family, we all enjoy playing it and have continuously played for 5 years. It is rated "M" for mature for animated blood/gore, and violence, but I have seen worse on the xbox,nintendo and playstation games. This is for PC only as far as I know, it would be cool if XBOX added this to its collection as well, but for now I will continue to enjoy the PC version, and pray they come out with number 3.
