why parents neglect thier lil'ones sometimes?

I dont think parents really neglect children. although there are some exceptional parents that do neglect their kids. But on the average parents do care. But sometimes there are certian situations that may pose a barrier between parents and kids. But we do not have to interpret it immediately as a sign of neglecting the kids.
