The majority are not, but a select few know what they're doing.

I agree with you. Teenagers are experiencing a lot of firsts when it comes to relationships of every kind. The are Real feelings and emotions they learn to face

You can't stereotype them all as being naive and not serious.

Depends on how mature they are, if they are mentally mature enough to know what real love is then yes!

The teenagers are more attracted towards each other than falling in love. When they will mature then only they will understand the meaning of love.

When I think back, I was quite certain that my first love was my onbe and only and I thought I gonna die of a broken heart when it ended ...Life teached me a different lesson :) I guess we don't know and unable to understand the whole concept of love and commitment when we are in our teens..and I have heard there are some who never get over that stage ..LOL

well how can they be serious abt love, whn in that age ,they dont even understand wht love is...and the heavy requirments it has, they r just nt willing to fulfill it,cause evry teenager hates responsibility and usaual stuff....bt it anothr point that some affairs of them do last long..and then they get serious later

At that age the emotions and feelings are real. It's just the 1st time(s) that they're feeling them. The hurts of breakups, the excitements of attractions, the friendship of the opposite gender, the challenges of liking more than one person, figuring out dating and commitement. It's all really being felt. Going through them is what develops you for future relationships.

teenagers are serious in nothing. they just spend their time in doing nothing. The main duty they have to perform is to acquire knowledge and get ready for the life to come.

Teenagers might think that they are serious and may be "in love" for the time being. But teenagers don't remain the same forever and so their views, personalities, and feelings of love all change over time.

ha ha ha you are right.i was standing in front of my crib one day and i saw a secondary school girl and a guy probably in their first year in school hands in hands with each other,i then heard the guy say "i love you" and the girl replied "i love you too, though when you are coming tomorrow dont forget to bring the biscuit you promised"...i bursted into laughter cause the 2 of them actuaklly do not know love goes beyond gifts and sweet words, love's about endurance and been there when all other people has failed.so for teenages i believe they are too young to know what love is and ought to be

well, all i can say is you can't judge love. Regardless what age group you belong too. Love is something you feel. If it's the first time you feel love then it's as serious it can get. If you are older and have been in love b4 then you know what to look for . Think about your First Love. How did you feel about them, and was it serious for you?

I agree with u . Teenagers are just attracted towards the one another. 1 out of 10,000 maybe serious. But, I think it is impossible to be serious at that age

My question is this - If we think teenagers cannot be seriously in love, why is it that in the 1800's, a girl was an old maid if she was not married by the time she was 13? My grandmother married my grandfather when she was 12 and they remained married until he passed away. Why do we think teenagers can't do that today?

yes some one just love a girl or a boy just for time pass. But in my opinion its a wrong approach. If u start loving a girl or a boy u must be ready to face any situations, and never he /she
