Ok, so the bible says in the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth. Then it goes on and talks about the diffrent cities, prophets, and such. My question is if that was the beginning where so dinosaurs and cavemen fit in? There is no metion of them in the Bible. Please help me to understand.

First of all, after making the Heavens and Earth, God also makes the animals - including dinosaurs, in day 5, then Man in day 6. Second of all, the "Days" The Bible talks about should no be regarded as the casual 24h day. They are ment as great periods of time, only metaphorically named "days". And third of all The Bible is written by men, and at that time the men who wrote it did not know anything about dinosaurs and cavemen.

Actually, Genesis 1:5 states that God created the light and the dark, and the light and dark were the first "day". So, that means from the time the sun rises to the time it rises the next morning is a day. Sounds like 24 hours to me. I'm not arguing for a young earth, nor am I arguing for an old earth (4.7 billion years, last time I checked). Besides, I wasn't there when time began, so I'm not going to say that I know 100% what happened. I'm just saying that Genesis makes a point that these are seven, literal, 24-hour periods of time, not billions of years.

You should check the opinion of theologists, they agree that the word "day" does not represent a 24h time period, and that the Genesis time cannot and should not be compared to the way we see time.

The six days of creation is not the same as the days that we think it is, i mean the 24hour period that we have now. Let us not forget that the Creator is an eternal being, so He don't caount the same days as we are. In short the days mentioned in the bible could be thousands oy years apart. So its easy to fit dinosaurs in there. Now about cavemen, they are people like us. Maybe we are just fed up with the evolution thing, that's why we are confused to think that cavemen are dumb men.

Good Question. My husband has told his aunt he would go to church if she could answer his question that he has asked many preachers over the years and no one has an answer for him. She asked what the question was? His question is: If God created man then who created God? His aunt said she would ask her preacher and get back to him....that has been four years ago. Guess he could not answer it either!

Obviously there are things that we cannot explain... as in the example of who created god... all I can say to that one is. Who created earth if there is no god. Big bang thearists... then who created the atomic material in the big bang. I think that fact alone...that we cannot answer why anything is what it is...nothing would exist...not even us to ponder why things exist...that alone proves that there is a god. Maybe even god has a god and his god has a god... Maybe our god is was created by another god. No one can answer that because there is no answer...sometimes you just have to accept that there are no answers and believe.

The generic answer to that question is that God eternally existed. There was no beginning to God and there will be no end. Then again, that statement expects you to suspend your disbelief. Many say that eternal existence is beyond the knowledge of man and that we should just "go by faith". To me, "go by faith" means "don't ask questions, just do as you're told".

Bible is man made... Man dictated... printing presses making zillions of copies... Religion leaves out the things such as dinosaurs and early man because it would ruin their theories on the creation of man.. It's creationism vs Evolution... I believe in evolution.

Well the reason is that in middle east the topography is entirely different. it's all flat and all desert, so there aren't any caves and with no caves there are no caveman. as for dinosaurs, the were already extinct when the adam was made and were decomposed and converted into crude oil.........so no dinosaurs even.........
