My dogs don't tend to bark that much they were socialized alot as puppies .If yours does I think the best thing is to obedence train it then if it starts then put it in a set having it do other things well get it's mind off barking .I also think getting it out more is a key .When it barks give it a corection then put in a set then praice the set so it gets punished for bad behavior followed by praise for good pretty soon it well prefer the good behavior . If you pet it or reasure it when it barks you are actualy praising the barking in the dogs eyes so never sweet talk or reasure a dog when it does bad things the best is to either ignore it or correct it .
