Surprise Surprise. Apparently Tom Hick's may be ready to spend some of his money on a real top free agent. The Dallas Morning News (http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/120606dnsporanglede.2e035bc.html) is indicating that Hicks has opened up his wallet to land Zito. If they pull this off, then the starting rotation is Zito, Millwood, Padilla, and whoever else. My vote is on Danks, Volquez, or Loe as the last 2 starters. That may be finally what puts us back in the playoffs in a weak AL West again., after 10 years

Well i live in chicago and my team is the chicago white sox. but i really do like the al west division. my dad is also from the same country as Vicente Padilla (nicaragua) so i tune in on how well they've been playing. In order to form a successful team you must have a solid rotation, and if the rangers manage to sign Zito i think they'll be much closer to winning the division. I just hope they keep Young, Teixeira, and Blalock in the upcoming years.

And what a surprise, we didn't get him. Does that shock anyone else?
