Do u use a UPS for ur PC? / myLot

I don't use one. I am just wondering whether it is really necessary. I heard that in India people use it. Can u tell me if it's useful?

I use laptop so I don't need a UPS.

an ups is important if there are a great voltage fluctuations. the basic purpose of an ups is to supply constant power to the computer,ie for high voltages it acts as a voltage stabalizer and for lower voltages it cuts down power and acts as inverter, so if ur country has the problem of voltage regulation please use ups
