Again, i read about fingerprints and if they are really one of its kind... then i cam across this information that fingerprints actually serve one function - they provide traction for the fingers to grasp things.
that is interesting, dont you think so?

mmm I suppose it is like asole of a shoe or marigold gloves wit teh little indents. I have not heard this before but it makes sense. Although I think they have also served a great purpose with solving crimes adn identifying people so I would say they definately have 2 purposes even though being able to grip woul be the main first and foremost one.

Yes they do provide friction in order to grasp things better. The discovery of its uniqueness in every person proves another great function...

That does sound interesting. I have not read that much on fingerprints unless it was how to identify who the killer was. I guess one will have to get someone who has no fingerprints and someone who has, and ask both of them to grasp something and see who is able to hold onto something.

That is interesting. I didn't know that fingerprints were good for anything other than identifying a person. Another new piece of information that I have learned today. I like to learn new things on a regular basis. Thanks for posting such interesting information.
