Is Flouride bad for us?

I remember a friend of mine who was heavily into natural health went on and on about how bad regualar toothpaste was because of the flouride. I never really thought about it much but started to buy natural toothpaste from the health food store, now I am just accustomed to it, but when people ask me why I am never quite sure what to tell them. I know it is because of the flouride but I can't remember why.
I do know one thing, when I use regular toothpaste it will make my stomach do loop-de-loops. So I stick the the natural toothpaste.

flouride is good for your teeth. calcium is better....find one with calcium...

Tom's toothpaste is very high in Calcium. I love the flavor of the fennel toothpaste. Tastes like licorice.

Many physicians and elderly people say that fluride intake causes lot of problems particularly causing stomach-ache etc. Many children in the beginning are not trained to spit all that is there in the mouth, so some quantity they gulp it. More education is required, but cannot expect it from Tooth page manufacturing companies.

I believe the stomach ache part! When I use regular toothpaste with flouride my stomach does flip flops.

Floride is very unhealthy for you. It causes cancer. Stick with the natural toothpaste. Toms is a good brand.

flouride is good for teeth, so many children these days don't have great teeth because they drink bottled water instead of tap water, which contains fluoride.
My mum doesn't have the best teeth because she grew up in the 50s/60s on a rain water tank, and before they started adding fluoride into the tap water.
It's still in the water now, so I'm pretty sure it's not bad for you :)
But then again you could say everything is bad for you and going to give you cancer! May as well just stay in your house and never go out again :)
