What was the best DIY project you have done?

Mine was my closet. It was a small space and when we got the house all it had was a wooden bar. I fixed it up by going to the container store. I got this booklet and you measured your closet space and they helped you pick out what you need. It was a great thing. I installed it all by myself! Great fun.

Ours has to be our bathroom. We ripped down the particle-board wallpaper (UGLY), painted the wainscoating, spongepainted the upper wall, ripped out the floor and layed nice stone tiles, and took out the old sink and vanity, and medicine cabinet, and put in new ones. We haven't tiled the shower, though, because we think that would be better to let the professionals do.

I was really proud of the fact that I patched and resurfaced my driveway myself. It was hard work but it looks so much better now.

Mine is our computer/exercise/sewing room. I'm currently working on it actually. I'm trying to expand my sewing portion. It's turning into a huge project.

Nope. Not much room. I live in base housing and the rooms are small. It's cramped but there is room for all.

My best project was my son's room. We just finished his room. It is part of his christmas present. He is 2 yr old and crazy about the new Disney Cars movie. So we did his entire room with the cars movie theme. We painted, he has the wall border and the stickers and posters on the wall. He is especially crazy about the character lighning mcqueen so we got the lightning mcqueen bed set and he is getting a lightning mcqueen tv. It came out better than we thought it would.

I've done too many really to pick one. But if I did it would probably be a back storage room we converted into a second bathroom. We really needed that the most probably with two kids and two stepkids. The plumbing was already layed in but for some reason the bathroom had never been a bathroom but a room piled to the ceiling with lots of junk. Sure made it nice having two bathrooms.
