Turtles

I want to get a pet turtle but I've been told they smell really bad. Is this true? I live in a small apartment and I don't want to take the chance.

Turtles only smell if you don't take care of their areas. If you clean it up, they should be fine. Some states restrict the sale of turtles, so ask before you try to buy one!

I've never had one so I couldn't tell you about the smell. But, I do know you need to wash your hands all the time because you can catch diseases from handling them.
