I got a note home today - the kids in my daughters class are exchanging gifts. The note said send in twenty of something and it can not be candy but dont' spend alot of money. Twenty of something but dont' spend alot of money, LOL. Okay looking for suggestions besides pencils what else is there if I can't do candy? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg I jsut don't have that type of money to spend.

Go to your dollar store. You can ussually pick up a bag of little toys for cheap. I love the dollar store.

Check out the Oriental Trading Company website (www.orientaltrading.com) or catalog. They have a ton of cheapy, little gifts that you buy in larger lots. For instance, bouncy balls, notepads, hats, erasers, keychains, whistles, jewelry, etc., etc. You're sure to find something there. They even have little gift bags that you can put a couple different little things in. I bet you could easily find at least one things apiece for under $10.
