Do you need someone to tell you the truth?

I find more and more people just really need to be told no. No one likes to be told no. Even as children being told no had negative feelings attached to it. Many people today can't tell themselves no and this leads to much unhappiness

Did you ever watch Don Quixote? Or Man of La Mancha?
I love the part where they surround him with mirrors and he is faced to see himself truthfully.
I think there are so many people in our society who need such an intervention.
I was telling my daughter just today that if I ever start believing things that are obviously untrue she needs to do whatever to get me straightened out.

It's just such a shame that people only use their mirror's to shave or put makeup on instead of seeing what truely lies beneath

i tend to agree with what your saying a real friend is the one who will say no as so that you will not get hurt later down the road although it may hurt at the time i think what your saying has a positive effect in the long run which is much more important than instant gratification
