Is it better to use real or fake plants in an aquarium?

i have a 5 gallon tank, i have some fake plants and i also bought some hardy aponogeton bulbs, i dont want to over crowd the tank so i dont want to use all of them, would it be better to use all real plants, all fake plants, or some of each

You should use both. The live plants help balance the oxygen but if you put too many they will begin to die and cause your tank to build up a lot of slime and algae. So a few live floaters and 1 or 2 planted in the bottom will be good then just maybe 1 or 2 fake small ones. The fish like to have places to hide too.

I think real plants r better. The fish will like them much better and they provide oxygen.
