call centers (agents) makes educated people stupid

i completely agree with you that call center make fool out of people

yeah i totally agree with you

i don't think stupid is the proper word. but it's more so they will lose connection to their fields they went through in college. but call center jobs are good jobs especially to people who have a long rope of patience and courtesy. it's an honest field and a respectful one, too.

hmmmm its a boring job sometimes...but sometime even its interseting when u hav to interact with different people...interesting people...am ina tech support when we say lets close all the windows they really go and close the windows of the room....this way...we need to be more specific while working with dumb customers.....its 3:30 am rghth now and am with another dumb cust on phone..... yes its true that these callcentre do not require an engibneering degree which i have and am a SAP certified functional analyst but dont get time to chnage my job....lets seeeeeeee

Yes and no. Call center may make the educated people fool but its also true other way round. People dont make the call centre jobs as thier career and leave them after a couple of years. Call center job are an avenue for them to earn and support their needs towards the fulfilment of their ambitions.

yes. one studies hard for a degree and then just ends up being in a call center where in you just do the same thing over and over again, which is not related to his/her chosen field at all. though i don't think the agents are stupid.. i think the work itself makes the brain cells shrink..
