Has anybody driven through West Virginia on I 70? Have you ever taken a roadbreak in Wheeling, on the West Virginia-Ohio border? If you are planning a trip throught the area, I can let you know of some great places to eat and some interesting local attractions.

what does that mean? Ok than ? If you don't have an intelligent response, why bother? Your making yourself look stupid for a few cents.

i will explain. "ok thans" is an out-of-state term. they are speechless when it comes to WV. its natural beauty has taken their breath away. they would do any thing they can to get back there and spend the rest of their days.

I remember spending the night in our travel trailer somewhere around Wheeling a few years ago. I don't remember the month but it was hot that day. We woke up in the night freezing. The temperature had really dropped. That is a lovely area.

I've been to WV a few times. I had to drive through it back in September on my way to Virgina/DC. It sucked cause those damn hills ate up my gas, haha. But the last time I actually went into WV instead of driving through it was to go to a show in St. Albans. But that's the only time I ever been to it really. I had driven through it to get to Pittsburgh when I lived in Ohio, but I was only in WV for a few miles, cause the directions went from Ohio and skipped into WV and then into Pennsylvania.

We just stopped by for the lights at Olgly Park. We started doing this years ago and buying an ornament for our girls at one of the gift shops.

Yeah last year we were on our way to Ohio trveling from Virginia when a snow storm hit. By the time we got there the snow was so bad that they let me go thru for free as they were getting ready to shut it down for the night. Its a good thing they let me go because turning aroundwas not an option. I would have slid off the road. I must say it was very pretty. we had been living in southern spain for the past three years and really missed the snow. so even though it was treacherous we were having a blast driving in it. I'm glad I hadn't forgotten how.

Oh Yeah! I've taken the lights drive also. Olgebay is a beautiful park. The lights are much nicer when there is snow on the ground. I used to go to Olgebay to sled(tobbagan ?) when i was a kid.
