Can anyone recommend what I should order at a Cuban Restaurant.

I just found out that we are going to a Cuban Restaurant tomorrow night for hubby's office party and since I have never eaten at one - thought maybe some of you guys could suggest some good options to try. About the only thing I have heard of is the Cuban Sandwich. So any suggestions are very welcome!!!! Thanx so much!!!!

My boyfriend really likes pulled pork.
I always get black beans and yellow rice.
Cuban bread is really good.

Oh yes we sure did and I took your suggestions and did in fact try the pulled pork, black beans, yellow rice and the bread too!!! And I have to say that boy you definitely got the right picks - they were all so tasty and really good!!! And whoa you were so right about the bread - it was awesome!!!! We loved it all!!!! And even better the service there was top notch - now that's something that is really hard to find these days!!! So I want to say Thank You so much for your Wonderful Suggestions!!!!! All that I know of that is Cuban is black beans and rice, which one of my patients who was from Cuba makes and brings to me. It's quite good. I hear that their cuisine is delicious. I don't know of any Cuban restaurants around me. Please tell us how it was!

You are so right about the black beans & rice!!!! It was awesome food!!!! Really tasty and a great selection!!! After having such a successful first visit to a Cuban Restaurant then we are definitely going to go again since not only was the food top notch but the service as well!!!

Well the actual name of the restaurant is Cuba Libre - and it stinks that I can't access their website to see the menu but it's underconstruction so am looking for some ideas. Thanx for the Hope you have a Great Time!!! I am pretty sure that we will - afterwards we are going to the theatre to see The Christmas Carol Play!!!!
