Why won't people respond to my discussions?

No matter how interesting or easy my discussions are people aren't responding? why? is there a better way to get your discussions searched for? Every discussion I have started has only recieved 1 or 2 comments? what am I doing wrong? how do you get your discussion to show up at the top of the search? HELP!

Patience is the virtue buddy!
Even i got many discussions with 1-2 comments
But then you have to wait and participate more
And for each comment give a response, this helps in keeping the discussions healthy

I have been responding to other peoples discussions. I've been trying to anyway. I am going to respond to some of yours right now. Thanks for the response :)

well a lot of people only respond to wuts on the front page, i have the same problem as u so if u want to respond to eachothers discussions it'll start to show on the 1st page! as people respond it goes to the first page!

I feel your pain. It seems that people respond the most to a) posts on the first page and b) posts that they don't have to think about at all. My best advice is to reply to a lot of discussions and build up a friends base. Most of my discussions are responded to by my mylot friends, and responses will put the discussion on the 'recent discussion' page.

You should take it cool. try to put up some geniune discussions. with informative explanations. Well if you are doing this for earning then i will suggest to give comments rather than start a new discussion.
