Adult Swim?

Who watches Adult Swim? What are some of your favorite shows? Personally, I watch it moreso for the in between commentary than for the shows themselves. And honestly, does anyone here watch the anime shows on there? I've yet to talk to a single person that does.

I watch Adult Swim! Or parts of it, anyway. I watch Futurama and then wander away until the anime comes on. I guess I'm a rare breed? The anime is one of the reasons I started watching Adult Swim. I've always been an anime fan, but the more adult geared shows were never picked up by American networks until Adult Swim. It's nice not having to download FMA and Bleach or go out and buy them or be stuck with 'kiddie' anime like Pokemon and crap.

I suppose your avatar gives away that you're a fan of anime, however, you are most certainly a rare breed considering that your other viewing choice is Futurama. I think most people find it difficult to take cartoons seriously, hence the lack of a substantial anime following. I personally consider them to be along the lines of soap operas, and (as far as I know) I haven't turned into my mother yet. How did you first get into these shows if they weren't on here in America?

I like Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It's hilarious. I also sometimes watch Robot Chicken. I've seen that show a couple times with the octopus or squid things... but I don't really think it's that funny. I don't know what anime you are talking about. I don't usually stay up that late during school.

ATHF is probably the funniest show on Adult Swim. Robot Chicken is along the same lines, humor-wise, (random, fast-paced), so I'm a big fan of that as well. It's still hard for me to believe that Seth Green created that show. I still picture him as the wanna-be-thug from Can't Hardly Wait, heh. The other show you are talking about is Squidbillies, and honestly, it has its moments. For the most part, I agree with you, but there was an episode called "Hot-Lanta" or something like that, and it was hilarious. You should try to download it or catch it if they replay it.

I like Adult Swim. Most tv these days is garbage. The shos I like are the silly cartoons and some of the Anime. My wife wonders how a reasonable intelligent adult can like stupid cartoons and I tell her they don't pretend to anything but pulp entertainment like her reality shows and sit-coms.
I like ATHF, Family guy, Futurama, etc. That rediculous Squidbillies is starting to grow on me against my wishes. lol
I don't know if Boondocks is still on but I've gotten a few chuckles out of it. I don't really care for Ghetto humor but soemhting about it got me. Maybe it was the Sam Jackson scenes.
