I did real bad in my Math paper during the Mid-Terms, which was primarily due to my overconfidence in tackling the paper. But Math had the last laugh in the matter. I've done well in other subjects, my Math marks are a real black spot. Today we have a Parents- Teachers meeting at College and I don't know how to break the news to my parents. I really fear it! I nearly plucked the courage to tell them, but couldn't. I seldom lie, but the situation and it's repercussions are compelling me to. Please help me. Good day.

Well, just tell them. They'll understand. Mid-terms can overwhelm anybody and you're no exception. Don't worry, it'll all be better soon. Bad luck doesn't last forever.

Yes, thankyou for your support and kind words my dear friend. I'm lucky that I came to my senses before it was too late. There are people who realise that during the Terminal Exams, which can be catastrophic. It had nothing to do with bad luck as such, it was my lack of preparedness rather. I thopught my preparation was upto the mark until I saw the paper. Good day to you, bye.

Yes. I had a tussle in my mind, whether to tell them or not. Finally the truth won and I told them just in time. The meet went on fine, although my Mom was very bitter on seeing my marks. But everybody there were supportive and they didn't make me feel bad or whatsoever. They teacher reinforces his faith in me by telling a few good words about me and instilling some confidence, overall, it wasn't bad at all! Thankyou for your support and your responses. Good day to you, bye.
