reading books increase our knwoledge.. any type?

I agree that reading is very important. You can learn something about different cultures, you can dive into other worlds and meet interesting characters. If you are interessted in such things I stated and would like to learn more about the japanese culture I'd definitely recommend to read 'Shogun'. It's an awesome book but a very, very long one. Although I am spending lots of time on the computer I don't feel like I would be reading less. Reading is a passion of mine and I would never abandon it for anything. A book can give you so much more than the internet. What kind of books do you like best?
