1989 Cressida engine oil leak

The leak seems to be coming from the distributor and running down all over the rt frt corner of the engine. Took it all apart, cleaned up the mess, fitted a new distributor o-ring--and-voila! It still leaks. The valve cover is tight and new. I'm convinced it's the distributor shaft itself pumping oil out past a worn inner seal. Woulda fixed it but can't find a source for that seal.
