Perhaps because it really takes a top notch professional job to be able to pull of white. i mean how many carpenters do you know who can wear white and not get it dirty. White is like the new Purple... (purple back in the king/knight days could only be afforded by royalty and the rich due to the amount of work that went into the dying process...) Well now there is an extra amount of work needed to keep white white and well we all know about cashmire... whats wrong with White? I own a white suit....
