What does reponses posted mean?

When u go to "My Profile" , and it says responses posted..... does that mean All the response u have posted to other people or is it People responding to ur post?

Someone correct me if I am wrong.
When you go to MY PROFILE, what you see there are:
1. Discussions posted by you and responses given to that discussion by others
2. In the same place, whatever responses you posted for somebdoy's discussion is also given. If it is not clear, comment on this again.

Basically how many reponse you have made, also easy to compare with the quality of your posts as it shows those taken as 'best reponses' too.
