Does high school properly prepare students for university?

I dont think that high school properly prepares students for the differences between high school and university. I think that high school is much too easy in comparison with the work one is confronted with at uni.

Some high schools do but it depends on the school system.

I don't think it does. I took alot of college level classes when I was in high school and it didn't do much for me when I got to college. I had to learn college level in college.

I think I have to agree. In HS, the teachers seem to coordinate so they don't all have big projects going at the same time. At university, there are so many classes running at once, there is no feasible way to avoid projects coinciding with others.
