what would you do if you got an uncurable disease like cancer or aids?..

is it worth fighting for it and trying our best to extend our life upto a few months??..the disease is just going to eat the person away slowly..there are so many unlucky people in this situation. frankly speaking, if i find myself in such a situation,i wouldnt burden my parents for medical treatment just for living for a few extra days..id try and "leave" pretty soon.. what do you say?..am i right or wrong to do that?..tell me your views..lets have a serious discussion.
