I have an old single shot rifle (carbine) that belonged to my great grandfather. It has a breech loading door that you can raise when the hammer is cocked, it looks to be centerfire 30 maby 32 caliber. The gun has no vissable markings or manufacturer name, the only visable writing is on the underside of the octagon barrel beneath the front stock, there is a circle with an L in it and an inch toward the double finger trigger gard there is the #7 stamped , the only other mark on the rifle is under the trap door device on the left side , it appears to be 4 little circles grouped together with somthing undistinguesing in the circles the whole rifle from muzzel to shoulder plate is 40 inches long, any help with the recognition of this old rifle would be appreatiated
