Probably a lof of them work for NASA, but you may be referring to Sunita Williams, who is on the space shuttle that lifted off tonight. She is of Indian descent, but born and raised in the USA. Here's a link to her biography on the NASA site: http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/williams-s.html

Astronauts - Astronauts aboard the space shuttle that lifted off Dec 9, 2006 for the International Space Station.
I forgot to add the picture of all the astronauts on the space shuttle that lifted off tonight for the international space station. Sunita Williams is the second from the right in the back row.

Sunitha Williams is there in NASA she walked in spae for 55 minutes!!something for Indians to be proud of!!
