Can you tell me the famous food in your hometown?

The traditional food is dumplings in my hometown.We eat dumplings at Chinese New Year.Mmm. I like dumplings!

Where I currently live the big food item is bbq brisket. Sliced and made into sandwiches and smothered with sauce,onions and pickles. They also serve it sliced with the sauce separate and a side order of beans and potato salad.

In my town (Trieste - Italy) our typical dish is Goulash. Our roots are Austria Hungarian, so Goulash is our typical dish. pizza and pasta are most famous in my country

I am from New Orleans, Louisiana. The famous food there is probably gumbo. It is like a soup but it has smoke sausage, gizzards, sometimes okra, crabs, shirmps, turkey necks, and is served with or without rice. It may sound nasty but is actually very good. I don't like the gizzards, however.

In my hometown,there are many famous and characteristic foods,i enjoy them,such as preserved ham,banger,rice flour.....

I am from Kolkata-India. famous food in my town are Fish dishes, rice. Also sweets are very famous here. There are other snacks type of things that this city is famous for. Like chicken roll etc.
