How do you save video files from websites to your pc?

like mpeg Video clips,so i can watch them on pc

If you use internet explore you need a software call nettransport and you need to locate the kind of video ,if there is for example mmc://video.mpg you need this software,otherwize you can do with firefox but you need plugins
