Okay...
So what's up with the STUPID discussions being the "top discussions" for the day???
I mean seriously people. There are other more interesting discussions out there, without patronizing these people that start ignorant discussions. I'm not saying they should all be about world issues, poverty, religion, etc. But, geeeeez. Can we get an interesting topic??
It's hard to see the GOOD discussions and give them the credit that they deserve without scrolling through 20 discussions that start with "Do you eat?" OF COURSE WE EAT! Otherwise, would we be sitting here breathing?!?!!? *GaH*

I think Mylot would not look too kindly on your choice of words..you might want to reconsider them ..I think your topic is off color here..but that's my opinion..Who are we to put down others..

I wasn't "downing" Mylot. So Mylot really can't say that I'm being disrespectful to their system. I am FOR their system.
Secondly, I didn't "down" anyone in particular. I didn't name names, and didn't point anyone out. Therefore it can't be considered bashing an individual.
This post wasn't against any Mylot regulations. Their topics, and some of their posts, however, are.
My apologies if you took offense. I would hope that the reason you took offense to this topic isn't because you're one of the people I was talking about. =)

but then, if this sorta thing is not checked at sum point soon, it'll get outta hand...
and the only thing that will go DOWN...
...is our beloved Mylot!
Ambur's only remindin us of the RULES that mylot is based on...
if we're playing this game, ...we gotta play by the rules!

I agree with your discussion.
It is very difficult to locate the serious topics since one has to sift through 7 pages of "what's your shoe size, when did you take a bath, do you kiss on the first date, and other like-minded topics."
I think it hinders MyLot's evolving into a truly wonderful place to exchange ideas.
Let's hope there will be positive developments during the new year.

I agree also. I am new to the site and I thought it was clear when I joined this type of stuff was not allowed. They need to get their rules straight or dont have them at all.

well i think its mainly becoz people dont want to use their brains,, the only way to stop them is that we donot post in such lame disscussions,,, only then we can reduce them.

I agree with you. There are many discussions on the same subject. But that makes the community. I am here to work my English, for also earning money, and making friends. I live in France and much of sites refuse frenchies, I am rather active on MyLot which is the only site which pays me.

That's just the thing. I'm not here to "earn from my discussion." Lol. I think it's great that we can all post here and earn in the process. But I'm not trying to make Mylot a full time career of posting. I would normally be posting on forums just like this anyways. I thought it was sweet that someone could earn $1 or so a day doing so. My apologies if you took offense. =) Maybe you're perfectly happy with replying about your favorite color. =)

I feel your pain. It gets irritating sometimes but I just remeber that they are really not getting anything for disscusions like that. Its hard to find one that is worth responding to. Im glad you brought up this point. I hope more people get the message

LoL. Now, not to pull any credit from those currently on the Top Discussions, but I would have to agree. If one more day goes by, where I have to see the words "Bush" or "President" on the top discussions, Im going to go insane. What is there to say about him and the current situation that hasnt already been said !

lol, just dont response on that silly discussion so they will not get anything from us. yes i know this is big issue, sometimes im looking on top user discussion and almost they doing is just write short discussion and short response. all they want is to earn a lot of money from here with do anything. that was bad....

I hear ya. I'm getting to where I have a rule.
I don't answer anything that says anything remotely stupid.
I try not to answer anything that asks for a one-word answer unless I feel I can elaborate on it.
Maybe if people stop answering threads that show signs of "forum troll" behavior, they will stop posting things like: "No one answers my posts".
Sheesh, we all have unanswered posts. Obviously no one was interested, ya think? Thanks for the opportunity to vent that. Ciao. :)

personally i also get annoyed with pointless discussion, but instead of being angry, i use them to profit more! How? first, i prepare a paragraph long response and copy paste it to discussions with similiar questions! everyday we can see many new discussions asking our favourite color, favourite drinks, etc etc. just copy - paste the answer to all of them, and boom! i receive 1 dollar earning for the day... :-)

are you new here? lol, it has been a norm that such discussions get topped. this is because trolls find it easier to respond to such questions as opposed to discussions that require at least a paragraph of reply.

I'm new. And a figue that's probably how it works too. Someone posts "Do you brush everyday" and 100 will post back in 1 or two sentences. But i also thought, that if you truly added something to the response and wrote more, than that helps you in earnings.

That's funny, I get angry sometimes it's hard to think of a good discussions. I notice people on mylot are still just type 2 or 3 words. they tell you not to do it but people still does it, do you think they get credit for this? I notice everyone that I respond to that's not my friend I don't get a response, I wonder if mylot has something to do with it? please respond back so I can see if that's the problem.

thats quite mylot is growing and people aren't creative they keep coming with the silliest ideas.....The dullest discussions become todays top discussions I mean its someone lamenting their family problem or someone asking personal advice....why don't they seek advice from a qualified person than unknown people
