All I can say is WOW I can't believe they killed off Kat. I was just starting to like her caracter. It seems like they keep on getting closer to Earth. Next weeks episode looks good can't wait.

Yeah I watched it, I never miss a show. As far as killing off Kat i was a little disappointed but at least she went out on a good note. Cant believe the season finale is next week, it doesnt seem like the season was very long this year.

What?!?! It's the season finale already? Or are they perhaps taking a break (like many of the shows seem to be doing this year) and picking things up in a few months time? I'd hate to find out that this is it for the season! ~Wyrdsister

Okay, I did some quick searching, and came up with this article posted to TV.com: http://www.tv.com/battlestar-galactica-2003/show/23557/battlestar-galactica-moving-to-sunday-10-pm-schedule-beginning-jan.-21-2007/topic/11046-583012/msgs.html?tag=board_topics;title;6 "Sci Fi announced today that the 2nd half of Season Three will air on Sunday nights at 10 pm ET/PT. The 1st half of the season will end with the Dec. 15th episode. (That will be the 10th episode but the 11th hour of broadcast time since the producers are counting "Occupation" and "Precipice" as a single two-hour episode.) The 2nd half of the season begins on Sunday, January 21, 2007, at 10 pm ET/PT." *Whew!* I was worried there for a few minutes! :) Hope that helps! ~Wyrdsister

I'm a fairly new fan of the show. I just finished season one of this show and I'm half way through the second season. I'm waiting for the second half (I ordered it a week ago!). I'm trying to remember who is Kat?

Kat was one of the people who became a fighter pilot after an accident on the hanger deck that killed several other existing pilots. (I hope I'm remembering right, it's been a while since I've seen that episode).

I haven't seen it. In fact, I haven't finished watching last week's show. I can't wait to see it, now. I was never into her character, but I do hope that they actually find Earth. I have the season 1 box set and they had an interview with Edward James Olmos. He said they definately would not find Earth, but that was just something he said and it was in the first season. I don't think he actually knew what was going to be written into the storyline back then.

Wow, spoiler alert! ;) I just finished watching it myself, and I'm disappointed too as I liked her character. She had a good run, though. R.I.P. Louanne Katraine. ~Wyrdsister

I enjoyed the episode and I was thrilled to see Jane Espenson writing for one of my favorite shows. She's penning another episode that will air in February. I have to admit that I wanted to smack Starbuck with her condescending attitude. She needs to have a good long look in the mirror before she goes around treating everyone else like dirt.

This is old news now, but yes, I saw it. I just watched 10x17 and they had a photo of kat on the memorial wall. It seems like ages ago that they killed her off.
