Discovery's new satelite mission

they just launch seven astronauts into outer space again and I've heard that the previous astraonauts who launched stayed in the orbiting satelite for 6 months.. what the heck do they do up there?

One thing they do is run various experients on how weightlessness affects different animals and plants.
