How do you get out from debt?

I know some tips, but I never seem to follow them! First off quit charging anything. Either freeze the cards, or lock them away. Out of sight-out of mind. Then pick your highest interest card and pay as much over the minimum as possible. If it makes you feel better, take your lowest balance card and pay it off first. I know I feel like I'm getting somewhere paying lower balances in full..rather than paying the high balance high interest cards. In the end you are better off paying high interest first, but it's a psychological thing.

Marry someone rich i think! I am trying to be funny. I think the rule is to live within your means, so that you don't get in too deep. I will be anxious to see what people have to say about this.
